Ms. Mudasir Mustafa

Ms. Mudasir Mustafa is a Lecturer at Institute of Social and Cultural Studies. She has done MPhil Sociology from University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. She is a Gold Medalist in Master in Sociology (Session: 2005-2007), University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. She recently won a project as Principal Investigator in December 2016, titled “Review of Health Management Information System with regard to Family Planning” funded by USAID and supported by Carolina Population Center, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA. She also has worked on different projects with several national and international organizations such as WHO, IDRC, GDN, Ministry of Human Rights, USAID, and CIP. In last two years, she authored three articles published in international and HEC recognized journals titled Journal of Computer in Human Behavior (journal Impact factor: 2.6), Journal of Maternal and Child Health (Impact factor 1.9), and Journal of Interpersonal Violence (impact factor: 1.2). Her areas of research interest are human rights including women and children rights, gender mainstreaming, stigma and health, HIV/AIDs, and social implications of Information and Communication Technologies. She imparts training on quantitative research methods using SPSS, qualitative research methods using NVIVO, Gendered Evaluation Methodology, and Gendered Outcome Mapping.
