Dr. Faqir Muhammad Irfan

Dr. Faqir is working as Assistant Professor, Department of Law, University of the Punjab Gujranwala Campus. He did PhD in law from University of the Punjab. Prior to his appointment as Assistant Professor, he has worked on several administrative posts including Additional Registrar, Additional Controller Examinations, Additional Registrar Academic, Director Administration, Deputy Registrar Academic, Deputy Registrar Planning and Development, Deputy Controller (Conduct) Examinations, Assistant Controller Examinations and Assistant Registrar Planning and Development. His areas of interest are Environmental Law, Climate Change Law, Human Rights Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law and English Jurisprudence. He has participated in several conferences, seminar and workshops. He has also conducted training session on “Indigenous on Campus Training Programme under Modern University Governance Programme” at the Women University Multan and Government College for Women University, Lahore. He represented University of the Punjab as witness in a criminal case at Leeds Crown Court, UK in 1992.
