I got my Masters and M.Phil degree in Statistics from the University of the Punjab and joined the university in 2002 as Lecturer on contract basis. In 2004, I was selected as permanent faculty member. In 2010, I was selected as Assistant Professor.
I taught different subjects as Probability and Probability Distributions, FORTRAN (Computer Language), Research Methodology, Survey & Report Writing and Statistical Methods both at BS and MSc levels.
I am member of Board of Studies of College of Statistical and Actuarial Sciences, University of the Punjab, Lahore and different committees of our college (CSAS) as Admission Committee, Disciplinary Committee. Also, I am female student advisor of the college.
Presently doing research in Applied Statistics, Probability Distributions, Portmanteau Test and Goodness of Fit Criteria. I have experience of working in computer packages like Amos, SPSS, FORTRAN and R language.
I have supervised numerous M.Sc. and M.Phil research students and published articles in the area of Applied Statistics and Probability Distribution.
I have attended different National and International Conferences.
