ANNOUNCEMENT OF ADMISSIONS IN B.SC. (ENGG.) DEGREE COURSES SESSION 2019-2020 - FACULTY OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY

APPLICANTS SEEKING ADMISSION IN THE FOLLOWING ENGINEERING PROGRAMS ARE ADVISED TO PREPARE THEIR RELEVANT DOCUMENTS. THE FINAL ADMISSION DATE WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN NATIONAL NEWSPAPER AFTER F.SC RESULT.
1.
B.Sc. (Engg.) Chemical Engineering (Regular and Self-Supporting Programmes)
2.
B.Sc. (Engg.) Chemical Engineering (With specialization in Petroleum & Gas Technology) (Regular and Self-Supporting Programmes)
3.
B.Sc. (Engg.) Metallurgy & Materials Engineering (Regular and Self-Supporting Programmes)
4.
B.Sc. (Engg.) Electrical Engineering (only Regular Programme)
5.
B.Sc. (Engg.) Industrial Engineering (only Regular Programme)
 Pre-Requisite for Admission:- 
Must have appeared in the Combined Pre-Admission Entry Test to be conducted by the University of Engineering and Technology (U.E.T.) Lahore, on Sunday 14-07-2019. The Test is mandatory for admission and will carry 30% weightage for determining merit.

ELIGIBILITY

Must be domiciled in Punjab
Must have passed examination in year 2017 / 2018 / spring 2019 obtaining at least 60% marks:
F.Sc. (Pre-Engineering) or equivalent  [The candidate applying on the basis of A-level qualification must submit both O-level and A-level Equivalence Certificates from the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC), Islamabad].                OR
Relevant Diploma of Associate Engineer from the Board of Technical Education in Chemical Technology / Chemical Processing Technology / Chemical Technology with specialization in Sugar / Petroleum Technology / Petrochemical / Metallurgy & Welding / Foundry & Pattern Making / Electrical Technology / Electronics.
Must not be above 24 years of age (F.Sc. / DAE Basis) on the last date of form submission.
The Faculty of Engineering & Technology will ACCEPT and consider VALID Certified Result Card of Combined Entry Test 2019 issued by U.E.T. for the determination of academic merit for the above-mentioned admission on F.Sc./ Diploma (DAE) basis in Regular Programme / Self-Supporting Programme against Open Academic Merit seats as well as all categories of reserved seats EXCEPT for the Nominees of Provincial Government/Federal Government/GHQ, and those reserved for Foreign Students. The Entry Test marks will carry 30 percent weightage and the merit will be determined based on 70-30 formula for the said admission.
