Admission Notice for LL.B. 05 Years Program Academic Year 2019-20 (NEW)

Who can Apply:

Those candidates who have passed any of the Law Admission Tests, conducted by HEC on 19-08-2018, 21-07-2019 & 01-09-2019, and could not have applied earlier for admission, are eligible to apply for online admission. The online admission form for academic year-2019-20 in the University Law College are available at: http://admissions.pu.edu.pk or  http://111.68.103.22/admissions.
The portal for online submission will remain open from Wednesday, 09-10-2019 to Tuesday, 15-10-2019 at 9:00 pm.
The print out of complete online admission form along with relevant documents must reach to the University Law College on or before 18-10-19 at 5:00 pm (Friday) through registered courier.

Important Note:

Those candidates who have already submitted complete online admission form and had already sent a hard copy of the form along with relevant documents to the University Law College, “and do not wish to make any amendment in that form”, need not to apply afresh.
However, those candidates who have applied with tentative LAT marks or have improved their LAT marks are directed to send a copy of updated HEC  LAT  result card  to the University Law College through post on or before 18-10-2019 at 5:00 pm (Friday).

Eligibility for LL.B. 05 Years (Morning) Programs

The candidates holding F.A./F.Sc. or equivalent qualification with at least 55% and age not more than 24 years are eligible for admission in the relevant programs. 3rd division holder candidate is not eligible for admission.
Only those candidates will be eligible to apply who have passed  the Law Admission Test (LAT) conducted by HEC. Law Admission Test is mandatory for open as well as reserved seats.

Eligibility for LL.B. 05 Years (Self Supporting/Afternoon) Programs

Eligibility and basic criteria for admission in Self Supporting/Afternoon programs of LL.B. 05 Years will be the same as for morning programs. However, there is no age limit or session preference for Self Supporting/Afternoon programs. Moreover, hostel accommodation facility shall not be provided to the students admitted under Self Supporting/Afternoon Programs.
The admissions of LL.B. 05 Years Program shall be made on the basis of 70% academics and 30% LAT test performance. Testimonials (not necessarily attested) should be attached with the Application Form generated online before dispatching to respective department. Incomplete forms shall not be entertained.

Basic Criteria for Late Sessions/Years LL.B. 05 Years Programs

2% marks will be deducted from academic marks for each late session to a maximum of previous five (5) sessions/years.
Admission be made by the University Law Colleges as per order of the Session/Year of preference mentioned below

1st Annual , 2018 & 2nd Annual, 2017
• 2nd Late Session
1st Annual , 2017 & 2nd Annual, 2016
• 3rd Late Session
1st Annual , 2016 & 2nd Annual, 2015
• 4th Late Session
1st Annual , 2015 & 2nd Annual, 2014
• 5th Late Session
1st Annual , 2014 & 2nd Annual, 2013

Admissions on Sports Seat

1% seats have been reserved for admission on Sports basis.  Only those applicants will be admitted on the sports basis who have qualified the sports trials conducted by Punjab University Sports Committee and their names have been recommended by the Committee.

Admission on Reserved Seats

Nominations against reserved seat for Baluchistan will be sent to the Punjab University by the Higher Education Department, Govt. of Baluchistan through the Higher Education Department, Govt. of the Punjab.
Student nominations from Sindh (to be nominated by the respective Nomination Board).
Army reserved seats for Defense forces to be nominated by the GHQ, Rawalpindi.
Special persons (disabled persons) as per policy of the University of the Punjab.
Students having distinction in Co-curricular activities as per policy of the University of the Punjab.
LAT  is not mandatory for the reserved seats of Sindh, Balochistan & Foreign students.
1% Children /Spouses/real brothers or sisters (in this order of priority) of lawyers with at least 10-years lower court standing. (Only for University Law College Main Campus, Lahore)
One seat only for children of judicial Officer (Judges). (Only for University Law College Main Campus, Lahore)
Others seats, as per University Policy.

Admission for Foreign and Overseas Students

Applications from foreign candidates should be routed through his/her home country’s embassy and Pakistan Mission Abroad office (in case of overseas Pakistani). These applications should reach in the office of the Chairman Admission Committee, Centre for Undergraduate Studies, University of the Punjab, Lahore.

How to Apply?

1.
Online Filling of the Form for candidates who have not applied already.
Online Admission Form is available for LL.B. 05 Years programs at http://admissions.pu.edu.pk or http://111.68.103.22/admissions.
The portal for online submission will remain open from Wednesday, 09-10-2019 to Tuesday, 15-10-2019 at 9:00 pm.
After online submission of admission form,   take its print out and send a hard copy (generated online) along with fee deposited challan of Rs.500/- per application/form to the University Law College, University of the Punjab, with all relevant documents etc through postal service/courier service  on or before Friday, 18-10-2019 till (5:00 pm).
Those candidates, who want to apply for admission against reserved seats, need to choose respective reserved quota category(s) in online form.

The challan amount may be deposited by the candidates in the following Habib Bank Limited (HBL) or United Bank Limited(UBL) accounts-

3.
Admission form will be accepted by surface mail (By post) only. No form will be acceptable "by hand"
4.
Incomplete application form in any respect will not be entertained.

Gujranwala/Jehlum Campus will follow the same schedule as that of Main Campus, Punjab University.
The Admission Office will remain open on Saturday during the admission days.
Due to limited accommodation facility, the University is not bound to provide hostel accommodation to each and every admitted student. Limited accommodation shall be allotted on merit basis. Transport & Accommodation facility is not available for the students at Gujranwala/ Jhelum Campuses.

Note

Merit lists for LL.B. Program for the year, 2019-20 will be uploaded at the University and Law College website (www.pulc.edu.pk) according to above mentioned schedule.
