LAHORE: (Monday, June 11, 2012): Research paper of PhD student of Punjab University department of Botany Tayiba Ashraf entitled “New Records of Pezizales from Pakistan” has been published in one of the top ranking journals of America, “MYCOTAXON”. Her illustrations and findings have been selected from top ten finalists and appeared on front cover of journal. Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran congratulated Associated Prof of department of Botany Dr Abdul Nasir Khalid who is also co-author of the research paper.
