LAHORE: (Tuesday, June 26, 2012): Punjab University Medical and Dental College spokesperson Prof Dr Shaukat Ali has said that papers for registration of Punjab University Medical and Dental College have been submitted to the office of Federal Secretary Regulations and Services Islamabad for onward transmission to the PMDC. In a press statement issued here on Tuesday, Dr Ali said that Punjab University would start MBBS admissions in the upcoming session if everything went well. He said that admissions would be made on purely merit basis and the college would cater to the middle class who could not afford medical education in privately managed medical colleges. He said that people from all walks of life had greatly appreciated the vision of Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran of the widening the scope of education in Punjab University.
