LAHORE: (Thursday, July 05, 2012): President Lahore Press Club Arshad Ensari has said that education reporters are playing positive role in the society and their objective reporting brought true facts to the people regarding issues faced by institutions of higher learning. He was talking to education reporters at Executive Club on the occasion of a lunch organized in their honour. Afzal Talib, Shabbir Sarwar, Taseer Mustafa, Shakeel Malik and a number of education reporters were also present on the occasion. The participants acknowledged the services of journalists in education beat and appreciated their hard work in covering education news stories as well as key issues faced by the education system in the country. Director Public Relations Isar Rana also lauded role of education reporters in reporting issues of universities and sought their suggestions to improve the working of public relations department. Later, lunch was hosted in the honor of education reporters in which PU VC Dr Mujahid Kamran also participated.
