LAHORE: (Saturday, July 21, 2012): Punjab University has awarded 05 PhD degrees to the scholars in which Safia Ayub D/o Muhammad Ayub in the subject of Punjabi after approval of her thesis entitled “Pakistani Punjabi Adab Wich Komal Laikh De Rawayat’’, Muhammad Qasim S/o Murtaza Ahmed Khan in the subject of Urdu after approval of his thesis entitled “Translations of Ghalib’s Urdu Poetry-An Anlytic & Research Study”, Naveed Ahmad S/o Muhammad Tufail in the subject of Physics after approval of his thesis entitled “Urban Aerosol Measurement and Their Study By X-Ray Diffraction and Mass spectrometry”, Omar Riaz S/o Riaz Ahmad in the subject of Geography after approval of his thesis entitled “Impact of Population Growth on Urban Expansion in Lahore, 1951-1998” and Ghazala Saeed D/o Saeed Ahmad Ch in the subject of Punjabi after approval of her thesis entitled “Critical Analysis of Comic and Satrical Poetry of Punjabi”.
