PU teacher appointed visiting professor in UK
LAHORE: (Wednesday, August 15, 2012): Punjab University College of Pharmacy’s Associate Prof Dr Nadeem Irfan Bukhari has been appointed Visiting Professor at DeMontfort University School of Pharmacy, Leicester UK from September 1, 2012 to August 31, 2015. Dr Bukhari also had been invited to University College of London School of Pharmacy, London, UK to deliver the lectures entitled “Why is Statistics Needed in Pharmacy?” and “Statistics in Drug Development Using Quality by Design (QbD)”. These lectures were delivered to the postgraduate pharmacy students for QP course during 2 hour session via Skype. University College London (UCL) Senior Lecture Pharmaceutics Dr Gray Parkinson, School of Pharmacy and Chairperson of the Assessors of the Royal Society of Chemistry Ms Alex Hall and UK M Pharm students also participated in these lectures. Dr Bukhari has also been invited for a lecture entitled “Formulation and Processing”, which will be held in November, 2012 and from the University College London (UCL) to give lectures to Pharm D students through Skype. The academician has dedicated the credit to the Punjab University’s Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran and said that only due to his encouragement and motivational gesture of good self, the above opportunities were availed. |
