LAHORE: (Friday, August 17, 2012): Punjab University Department of Persian has published book entitled “Urdu Filmi Shairi”, which has good selection of Urdu Filmi poetry from South Asia’s film industry. Engineer Jamil Chaudhry, Prof Dr Saleem Mazhar and Prof Mrs Nasim Khalid have done research for the book and compiled quality Urdu Filmi poetry while Prof Dr Shafique Ahmed has supervised it. The book is an asset for the readers in this sphere of life. Prof Dr Saleem Mazhar has thanked PU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran for providing support in publication of the book.
