LAHORE: (Tuesday, September 04, 2012): Punjab University on Tuesday has held cricket trials. Hundreds of candidates from all over the Punjab participated in it. Ex-Test Cricketer Aihtsham-ud-Din monitored it. The candidates said that only PU could be provided us such platform where we would promote our talent. PU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran and Provincial Minister Ch Abdul Ghafoor visited the Ground to examine standard and arrangements of trials. In his address PU VC Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran said keeping in view to transparency in the trials we have invited former cricketer to select PU cricket team. He said PU will continue playing its roll to unearth new talent. It had to stop trials due to rain.
