LAHORE: (Thursday, June 13, 2013): Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran has congratulated the Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar for presenting education friendly budget. He said in his press statement that Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has shown his priority about education by allocating a sum of rupees 57 billion for higher education. He said that it would create opportunities in the field of education and institutions would work freely to enhance research work. He said that the number of higher studies students would reach up to1.3 million. Dr Mujahid Kamran said with 2000 more scholarships Pakistani talented students would be benefited not in higher studies but also could be able to understand new trends of research outside the country due to which Pakistan will be moving towards right direction. He said that in the past government had neglected education sector due to which our youngsters has become laggards but Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has started a new journey in the right direction which will be result oriented in the future.
