LAHORE: (Friday, June 14, 2013): Punjab University Institute of Agricultural Sciences organized a seminar on “Role of Private Sector in the Development of Agriculture in Pakistan”. Director IAGS Prof Dr Muhammad Saleem Haider, Director Sales and Marketing Ali Akbar group of companies Saad Akbar Khan faculty members and students attended the seminar. The speakers lauded the efforts of PU VC Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran who constituted agricultural department to give opportunity to the students of agricultural studies for promotion of agriculture. Dr. Muhammad Saleem Haider threw light on the performance of his institution and agricultural research of faculty and students. Saad Akbar highlighted the services and purposes of his company. Later on both the institutions agreed on mutual understanding for the promotion of agriculture.
