PULC student honored in Model United Nations Conference


LAHORE: (Thursday, January 21, 2016): Pakistan Youth Ambassador Muhammad Sibtain Raza from Punjab University Law College attended the Model United Nations Conference at Oxford University England and made the whole nation proud with his sheer eloquence and vocal bravery when defended Pakistan's position on international terrorism and regional conflicts such as Kashmir issue. Muhammad Sibtain Raza, a bright student of LLB (Hons) has recently visited the United Kingdom to represent Pakistan at a week-long Model United Nations Conference at Oxford University. Over 190 countries took part in this international conference.

‎This event was captured by the international media and mainstream Consulate General Pakistan in Birmingham also invited Sibtain to an official dinner alongside key British Pakistani politicians and business tycoons. Foreign Office Pakistan recognized Sibtain's efforts in defending and representing Pakistan at the UN conference and arranged a press conference at the Consulate. ‎The whole overseas Pakistani community felt proud and invited Sibtain to many local community events. Talking to media, Sibtain has stressed on the need of education within the disadvantaged children within Pakistan and announced that his mission in his life is to serve the disadvantaged Pakistani children and give them the gift of free education. Principal University Law College Dr Shazia Naureen Qureshi has congratulated Sibtain on his outstanding performance in the event.
