PU spokesman clarification
PU spokesman clarification

LAHORE: (Monday, October 17, 2016): In response to IJT allegations, the Punjab University spokesman has clarified that because of some clarification in the judgment of Lahore High Court, there is delay in admissions of LLB programs at University Law College. The spokesman said that the basic reason behind the IJT protest was that the administration had expelled IJT activists who had violated university discipline. The spokesman said that none of the members of Law College administration had share in any private law colleges and this allegation was totally frivolous. The spokesman said that since students had not been admitted in first year, the classes of LLB Part 2 and LLB Part 3 could not be scheduled. He said that the Law College administration had to divide subjects among regular and visiting faculty members equally and this was the reason behind delay in commencement of classes of LLB Part 2 and LLB Part 3. The spokesman expressed astonishment that since IJT members did not attend their classes, how and why they were making noise over delay in commencement of classes? He also denied IJT allegations regarding University Law College ground that the students were not being allowed to play there. The administration is thinking to sue IJT on telling lies, he added.
