Students’ potential to contribute to Pakistan’s development: Gilani LAHORE: (Monday, April 23, 2018): Punjab Minister for Higher Education Syed Raza Ali Gillani has said that Pakistan’s young generation is full of potential and their abilities must be utilized for the development of the country. He was addressing the inaugural ceremony of All Pakistan Co-curricular Competitions being jointly organized by Punjab University, The Educationist, Punjab Higher Education Commission, National Accountability Bureau, Institute of Education and Research and Lahore College for Women’s University at New Campus here on Monday. Addressing the ceremony, Syed Raza Ali Gilani said that we must remove the inferiority complex of giving preference to English speaking people. He said that if we follow the principals of Islam, the West would start following us. He said that Pakistan had provided us an opportunity to excel and now it is up to us to use our professional energies for development. He congratulated organizers of the event on providing a good opportunity to the students from all provinces for showing their skills in co-curricular activities. Prof Dr Shafique Jullandhry said that such competitions must be welcomed in the prevailing situation of the country.
