LAHORE: (Tuesday, September 4, 2018): Punjab University has awarded six PhD degrees to the scholars in which Norina Sadiq D/o Muhammad Sadiq in the subject of South Asian Studies after approval of her thesis entitled “War on Terror and Its Impact on Society & Culture of Afghanistan”, Nuzhat Firdous D/o Mian Abdul Rashid in the subject of Sociology after approval of her thesis entitled “A Comparative Study of Parent-Child Relationship, Communication, Self-Esteem and Academic Achievement Between Female Students of Public and Private Schools”, Tahira Batool D/o Muhammad Tariq Saleem in the subject of Zoology after approval of her thesis entitled “Effect of Different Lysine Regimens on Growth, Productive and Reproductive Performance of Indigenous Aseel Varieties” Muhammad Mudassir Iqbal S/o Muhammad Iqbal Qurehsi in the subject of Biochemistry after approval of his thesis entitled “Molecular Cloning, Sequence Characterization and Expression Studies of Human Interleukin-24”, Sayyed Ghyour Abbas S/o Sayyed Mulazam Hussain in the subject of Zoology after approval of his thesis entitled “Taxonomic Studies Based on New Remains of the Siwalik Proboscideans from Northern Pakistan” and Sami Ullah S/o Hameed Ullah in the subject of Arabic after approval of his thesis entitled “Feminism in Prose (Novels and Short Stories) of Nawal EI Saadawi and Fahmida Riaz”.
