PU Library organizes orientation for new students


LAHORE: (Friday, November 23, 2018): Punjab University Library has started its Annual Library Orientation Program for newly enrolled students of the university. Chief Librarian Dr Muhammad Haroon Usmani, librarians, almost above 180 students from the Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology, College of Engineering and Emerging Technologies; and Institute of Quality and Technology Management were present at the inaugural program. In his address, Dr Muhammad Haroon Usmani said that orientation program was highly appreciated practice of the library from several years and students found this orientation very valuable for them as many of the new students have never seen or used a library in real sense before. He said that library was working hard to satisfy the needs of all researchers. The library will organize six programs daily and will accommodate all newly enrolled students of the university from all disciplines. The programs will continue till January 2019.
