LAHORE: (Monday, January 10, 2022): Punjab University has awarded five PhD degrees to the scholars in which Saher Mahmood D/o Mian Mahmood Alam Shad in the subject of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics after approval of her thesis entitled ‘Spatio-Temporal Diversity of Phyllospheric Bacteria of Helianthus Annuus’, Shagufta Khurshid D/o Khurshid Alam in the subject of Urdu after approval of her thesis entitled ‘Conflict of Eastern and Western Civilization in Published Urdu Drama (After the Establishment of Pakistan)’, Atiq Ur Rehman S/o Muhammad Saeed Arif Siddiqui in the subject of Islamic Studies after approval of his thesis entitled ‘A Critical Study of Alexander Ross’s Translation in the Light of Modern Trends in English Translation of the Holy Qur’an’, Saeed Ullah S/o Inayat Ullah in the subject of Education after approval of his thesis entitled ‘Developing Mathematical Reasoning Among Secondary School through Metacognition: An Experimental Study’ and Javed Iqbal S/o Liaqat Ali in the subject of Political Science after approval of his thesis entitled ‘Socio-Economic Status of Pakistan: Issues of Governance and Human Development Under Internal Security Challenges (2001-2013)’.
