LAHORE: (Friday, June 9, 2017): Punjab University has awarded six PhD degrees to the scholars in which Muhammad Zaheer S/o Muhammad Bashir in the subject of Environmental Sciences after approval of his thesis entitled “Application of Green Chemistry in the Synthesis of 2-(2-Fluorobiphenyl-4-YL) Propanoic Acid Derivatives”, Muhammad Adeeb Babar S/o Muhammad Shafique in the subject of Zoology after approval of his thesis entitled “Taxonomic Studies of Late Miocene Artiodactyls (Mammalia) from Northern Pakistan”, Muhammad Asif Imran S/o Muhammad Shaaban in the subject of Environmental Sciences after approval of his thesis entitled “Eco-Physiological Responses of Sunflower (Helianthus Annuus L.) Against Various Levels of Rhizospheric Arsenic (As) and Associated Metals in the Soil”, Ghalib ul Islam S/o Abdul Hafeez in the subject of High Energy Physics after approval of his thesis entitled “Design & Simulation of High Energy Thermionic Electron Beam Guns for Accelerators Applications”, Nabeela Falak D/o Falak Sher in the subject of Islamic Studies after approval of her thesis entitled “Hujjiat-e-Ijtihad: Masalik-e-Fiqhiya Ka Nuqta-i-Nazar” and Asraf Hussain Hashmi S/o Muhammad Altaf Hashmi in the subject of Biological Sciences after approval of his thesis entitled “Molecular Characterization of Viral and Host Genetic Factors in Hepatitis C Virus Infection”.
