LAHORE: (Friday, April 13, 2018): Punjab University has awarded five PhD degrees to the scholars in which Sehrish Iftikhar D/o Iftikhar Ali in the subject of Agriculture (Plant Pathology) after approval of her thesis entitled “Computer Aided Design of Fungicides to Combat Early Blight of Patato”, Mahmood Ahmed S/o Barkat Ali in the subject of Chemistry after approval of his thesis entitled “Synthesis, Characterization of Novel Curcumin Analogs and their Biological Activities”, Atif Khan Jadoon S/o Muhammd Akram Khan Jadoon in the subject of Economics after approval of his thesis entitled “Globalization, Consumption Patterns and Cultural Changes Nexus: Evidence from Three Big Cities of Punjab, Pakistan”, Muhammad Iqbal Roy S/o Muhammd Ramzan in the subject of Political Science after approval of his thesis entitled “Pakistan-United States Relations: Countering Terrorism (2001-2013)” and Zia ul Haq S/o Muhammad Salim Saqi in the subject of Space Science after approval of his thesis entitled “An Assessment of Major Ozone Depleting Substances (ODSs) and Their Impacts on Climate Change Using RS/GIS in Lahore, Pakistan”.
