Institute of Applied Psychology, Punjab University Orchestrated Alumnus Prof. Dr. A. H. Alawi Gold Medal & Scholarship Ceremony on 24th November 2018. The Director of Institute of Applied Psychology, Prof. Dr. Farah Malik cordially welcomed the distinguished alumnus and guests serving in various fields of psychology round the country. The program started with the name of Almighty Allah. Mrs. Azra Qureshi, daughter of Prof. Dr. Alawi rendered a Gold Medal in the name of her beloved father to the Punjab University for the 1st position holder of MSc Regular program. She has also given two Merit Scholarships for the first and second position holder for MSc part I through Human Development Fund established by her. Also, two other scholarships have been rendered by the son of Dr. Bilal Sufi: the eminent psychologist and Ex-president Pakistan Psychological Association. Essence of Professor Alawi was enlivened through a memorial video. Prof. Dr. Rafia Hassan, a legendary psychologist was presiding the ceremony and shared her views. Prof. Dr. Ruhi Khalid, Mr. Zafar Qureshi, Dr. Zafar Alawi, Dr. Mian Aftab Ahmed and Mrs. Samra Bilal Sufi shared their memories with Prof. Alawi. Prof. A.H. Alawi and Dr. Bilal Sufi Gold Medals and scholarships were distributed to the students by Mrs. Azra Qureshi, Prof. Dr. Rafia Hassan and Prof. Dr. Farah Malik. A token of gratitude was presented to Mrs. Azra Qureshi by Prof. Dr. Rafia Hassan and Prof. Dr. Farah Malik. To conclude the ceremony, The Director showed immense gratitude to all the distinguished guests and highlighted the pertinence of rewarding students as an uplift to their performances.
