In the interest of general public, it is informed that Punjab University is authorized to hold its own Entry Test for the admissions of BS/ MA/ M.Sc/ MS/ M.D/ M.Phil/ M.Sc (Engg) Ph.D or Equivalent Programs for the year 2012. No private or semi-private body is authorized to conduct Entry Test on behalf of the Punjab University. However, the candidates for admission in 18 year education (after 16 year education) should qualify Gat-General Test conducted by NTS obtaining 50% marks or above to become eligible for admission and candidates applying for Ph.D. must have qualified subject GRE as per HEC requirement. The schedule of the Entry Test to be conducted by certain departments of the Punjab University shall be announced through public notice on Friday, 29th June and Sunday , 1st July, 2012 in the national newspapers.
