LAHORE : (Monday, January 11, 2010): Punjab University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran has congratulated the newly-elected office bearers of Lahore Education Reporters Association (LERA) elections 2010. The vice-chancellor hoped that the newly elected executive body of LERA would help strengthen ties between media and educational institutions and play its role for the promotion of education.

It is noteworthy that in LERA elections 2010, Imdad Hussain Bhatti of Daily Pakistan was elected as President, Abdul Ghafoor Hayee of Daily Jinnah as Vice President, Raheel Sayyed of Daily Aaj Kal as General Secretary, Aun Zahoor of Daily Jurrat as Finance Secretary, Amira Abrar of City42 as Secretary Information and Sania Chaudhry of Samaa TV as Women Wing Incharge.
