LAHORE: (Saturday, January 16, 2010): On the directive of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani, Punjab University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran has transferred one post of professor from the pool to the Institute of Communication Studies (ICS) and designated it as ‘Professor Miskeen Ali Hijazi Chair' after the renowned journalist and teacher of Mass Communication late Prof Dr Miskeen Ali Hijazi, with immediate effect.
