LAHORE : (Monday, January 18, 2010): A meeting of Punjab University Advance Studies and Research Board (AS&RB) held under the chairmanship of Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran in the committee room of vice-chancellor's office here at New Campus on Monday.

The meeting solved the cases of PhD scholars sent for review in the board by PU departments, institutes, colleges and schools have been resolved.

In Thursday's meeting, 13 PhD synopsis, 21 reports on PhD theses and 13 panel of examiners for PhD thesis' review were approved. Extension was also given in 31 cases while various miscellaneous 18 cases were also discussed.

Among those who attended the meeting included Prof Dr Jamil Anwar Chaudhry, Prof Dr Javaid Ahmed, Prof Dr Muhammad Jamshaid, Prof Dr Shahida Hasnain, Prof Dr Muhammad Saleem Mazhar, Prof Dr Liaqat Ali, Prof Dr Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal, Prof Dr Mughess-ud-Din Sheikh, Prof Dr Muhammad Ehsan Malik, Prof Dr Hafiz Mahmood Akhtar, Prof Dr Haris Rasheed, Prof Dr Muhammad Hafeez, Prof Dr Mehr Muhammad Saeed Akhtar, Prof Dr Abdul Ghaffar, Prof Dr Nisar Ahmad, Dr Zahid Karim Khan and Prof Dr Muhammad Naeem Khan.
