LAHORE : (Tuesday, January 19, 2010): Punjab University Department of Urdu will organize a two-day international seminar ‘Azad Sadi' on January 20-21, in connection with a century completion of death anniversary of renowned literary person Muhammad Hussain Azad.

The inaugural ceremony of the seminar will be held on Wednesday, January 20 at 10:00am in the Sherani Hall of Oriental College at Allama Iqbal (Old) Campus. Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran will chair the ceremony while Dr Shamim Hanfi, Dr Abdul Haq, Dr Asghar Abbas, Dr Abual Kalam Qasmi, Dr Qazi Afzal Hussain (India), Dr Khalil Tauq Ar (Turkey), Soyamane Yasir (Japan), Dr Muhammad Kumerci, Dr Ali Bayat (Iran), Prof Fateh Muhammad Malik and Iftikhar Arif will be the guests of honours on the occasion.
