workers thrashing of PUCIT students

LAHORE: (Friday, January 29, 2010): The President and Secretary PU Academic Staff Association, Dr Saeed Ahmad Nagra and Mr Zaid Mahmood in a joint statement issued here today, have strongly condemned the manhandling of Information Technology College students at the hands of IJT workers within the college premises on January 28, besides causing harassment to the faculty members. The office bearer of ASA have further demanded of the PU Vice-Chancellor that stern action should be taken against the elements responsible for the violent incident. Meanwhile office bearers of PU teachers alliance Dr Zaid Mahmmod, Prof Javed Sami, Mr Iftikhar Ahmad Tarar, Dr Shakil, Hafiz Muqeet, Ch. Abdul Qayyum, Mahboob Hussain and others have also vehemently condemned the militant action on the part of a group of activists, in addition to expressing their solidarity with the information technology college faculty.
