The Department of Secondary Education is functioning since the inception of IER. It offers M. A. Education Secondary and M. Ed. Secondary programs. B.A./B.Sc. is the basic requirement for admission to M. A. Education whereas in-service teachers with B. Ed./B.S.Ed. are enrolled in M. Ed. programmes.
BA/ B. Sc with English plus two elective subjects + B. Ed / BS Ed
Admission Criteria: Basic
Additional Marks:
Two marks for each completed year of teaching experience in any recognized educational institution after the notification of B. Ed/ BS Ed degree up to a maximum of ten marks.
