| M. Sc Applied Psychology (Replica/Self-Supporting)

The M.Sc is a two years program, with two semesters in each year. It emphasizes the application of psychological principles in major areas of Psychology. The M.Sc syllabi comprises of Foundation courses, Major courses, Elective/ Specialized courses, Community Work, and Research Thesis. Students are provided with orientation of: the resources, facilities, rules and regulations, and code of conduct before the commencement of classes. It is mandatory for every student to attend orientation program and students are provided with copies of rules and regulations in the orientation program.
Prerequisites for Admission
It is mandatory to pass the departmental Entry/Admission test before applying in this course. Application form complete in all respects particularly, with reference to detailed marks in the previous examination, equivalence (if required), conversion of marks (if required), migration certificate (if required) should be submitted. An attested photocopy of National Identity Card/ Domicile Certificate of the applicant as well as of father/ guardian is also required. Required qualification for admission in M.Sc is B.A/B.Sc. degree with Applied Psychology/ Psychology as one of the elective subjects. Entry test is prerequisite of admission in M.Sc and it has 30% weightage in total merit. It is necessary that the applicant attaches last two pages in the prospectus duly filled by him /her with application form and keep the counterfoil as a receipt. The lists of selected candidates are displayed on the department notice board
according to the admission schedule laid down by the University. For replica program there is no condition of age, however the rest of the requirements are same for both programs.

Eligibility:
BA/B. Sc with Psychology/Applied Psychology as an Elective subject ( 200 marks).
Admission Criteria: Basic+Marks in Applied Psychology/Psychology.
The students admitted against reserved seats must fulfill the requirement of having passed Applied Psychology/Psychology as an elective subject in B.A/B.Sc of 200 marks.
Hafiz-e-Quran: 20 marks
