Master of Information and Operational Management is inter-disciplinary in nature, drawing up the techniques from many fields, including the mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science, economics, management and physical sciences. Researchers using Operation Research have successfully solved a wide variety of real world problems e.g. design and operation of urban transportation system, defense, water resource planning, telecommunication designing, inventory planning, computer operations etc.
“Master of Information and Operational Management” is a two years degree program designed to provide the students a blended program in the fields of Operation Research, management, statistics and Information Technology. The qualified professionals are mainly expected to work in the industry, banks, companies etc. to provide qualified people who can make best of that companies resources.
