I hold an M.Sc. in Actuarial Science from the College of Statistical and Actuarial Sciences, followed by an M.Phil. and a Ph.D. in Finance. Since 2010, I have served as a Lecturer at the University of the Punjab, initially on a contract basis until 2014, after which I became a permanent faculty member in the Actuarial Science program. As of 2024, I am an Adhoc Assistant Professor of Actuarial Sciences.
My research interests include pension fund management, risk management, insurance, and finance. I have completed projects on the actuarial valuation of pension liabilities for various HEC-recognized institutions across Pakistan.
I am passionate about teaching mathematical subjects such as Business Math, Calculus, Financial Mathematics, Probability, Pension Calculations, Life Contingencies, Mortality Data Analysis, Financial Management, and Actuarial Mathematics.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I enjoy sports, particularly squash and badminton, which I play at the University of the Punjab squash complex. I also love exploring Pakistan's hill stations by car and bike, and I am an avid hiker and climber.
