Dr. Khalil Ahmad is Professor of Sociology in the Institute of Social and Cultural Studies (ISCS), University of the Punjab, Lahore. His work focuses on chronic conditions, disability and healthy ageing, informal caregiving, gender and development, globalization and modernization. He has published in national and international reputed journals. His research interests include social gerontology and geriatrics, gender and development, youth participatory politics, entrepreneurial education and development.
He has participated in national and international workshops on reproductive health. He has also attended national and international conferences. He is teaching and supervising theses at both undergrad and graduate levels. Currently, he is working as an Incharge/coordinator of Sughra Begum Center for Education Policy and Development (SuBCEPAD).
