I am working as Research Officer in Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology, University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. I joined university of the Punjab Lahore in August 2006. My field of interest is Plant Molecular Biology, Plant Biotechnology Immunology, Biochemistry, Plant Biosafety, GMO Analysis. Now I am working as a Research Officer cum Lecturer BPS .18 in Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology University of the Punjab Lahore, Presently I am also a Ph.D Research Scholar in Plant Biotechnology Lab at CEMB. I achieved a milestone of multiple gene transformation in Cotton and working on pre and post release monitoring of GMO Crops like cotton. Afterwards during my PhD, my primary research efforts now focus on production of Edible Vaccine against Avian influenza Virus in chicks which is a major prevailing issue in poultry in Pakistan.
As a team scientist I am involve in many Research Projects which are funded by different funding agencies like PARB, ICARDA USA, HEC and Protein based detection of CEMB cotton Verities CKC3, CKC5, CKC6, CKC7 and CKC8.
