The Hindi Department was established at the University Oriental College in 1983 when the Certificate/Diploma classes were started. The course contents for the Degree and Post-Graduate level programs have already been designed. At present the Diploma in Hindi Language and Literature is being run efficiently according to the modern teaching strategies.
