| The PU International Symposium on Advanced Energy Storage Materials (PU-AESM-2019) is going to be held at Department of Physics, University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. Department of Physics, established in 1906, is the oldest department in the discipline of Physics in Pakistan. The department has a rich history where many renowned scientists such as Prof. Arthur Holly Compton (Physics Nobel Laureate 1927) and Prof. Abdus Salam (Physics Nobel Laureate 1979) have remained associated. The scientists from different research fields such as theoretical physics, experimental condensed matter physics, computational physics, materials physics, etc, are working in this Department. The PU-AESM-2019 will be organized at the department of Physics and will provide material scientists a platform to interact and share their research findings and developments. Researchers from other countries will also participate in PU-AESM-2019. | |

We cordially invite you to attend the PU International Symposium on Advanced Energy Storage Materials to be held at Department of Physics, University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan, on 4-6 November, 2019. The PU-AESM-2019 will provide opportunities for researchers to participate in discussion related to recent progress in electrochemical energy storage devices. Currently, electrical energy storage is one of the biggest challenges of our planet to reduce the carbon emission from fossil fuel. The main targeted area for electrical energy storage application is electric vehicles (EVs). Further, the renewable energy sources, most of which are intermittent in nature, require energy storage system (ESS) for smooth electric supply. PU-AESM-2019 is organized to suggest the ways to overcome the current challenges for the advancement of electrochemical energy storage devices.
