The 1st International Symposium on Advanced Energy Storage Materials (AESM-2019) is going to be held at Department of Physics, University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. Department of Physics, established in 1906, is the oldest department in the discipline of Physics in Pakistan. The department has a rich history where many renowned scientists such as Prof. Arthur Holly Compton (Physics nobel laureate in 1927) and Prof. Abdul Salam (Physics nobel laureate in 1979) have remained associated. The scientists from different research fields such as theoretical physics, experimental condensed matter physics, computational physics, materials physics, etc, are working in this department. The AESM-2019 will be organized at the department of Physics and will provide material scientists a platform to interact and share their research findings and developments. Researchers from other countries will also participate in AESM-2019.
