Graphic Designers are visual communicators, working with mass media
in communicating and motivating the consumers about products and services.
They also create images and signs to which public will respond. They
may use any media: film, video, packaging, posters, brochures, print
and outdoor media and web-designing or interactive media. They learn
to work on the assignments related to corporate identity with symbols
and logos, annual reports, signage, architectural graphics, promotional
material and point of sale items, stationary and other printed materials.
They need to understand the problems of marketing, photography, printing
and production at a professional level. They are trained in the use
of computers and latest software to equip them with the post-modern
tools. In the final year they conduct a thorough research and design
a comprehensive communication campaign in the form of a Design Thesis.
