ADMISSION CRITERIA FOR B.ARCH (5 YEAR
PROFESSIONAL COURSE)
1) Minimum requirement for admission to B.Arch. is intermediate or equivalent
with combination of any three of the following subjects:
Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Computer science, Statistics,
Fine Arts, Economics, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology.
2) The applicants will have to pass an entry test of drawing, english
and maths.
3) The candidates who pass the test will appear for an interview before
the addmission committee along with their portfolio. The interview will
carry 25 marks.
4) 5 Seats are Reserved for Candidates with 3 Year Diploma in Architecture.
5) For the purpose of determining the merit, 50% weightage will be given
to the test and 50% to the total marks in intermediate or equivalent.
6) Only those who pass the tests and clear the interview shall be eligible
for the interview.
7) The decision of the admission committee will be final and cannot
be challenged by any candidate.
ADMISSION CRITERIA FOR B.F.A. Part-I
1) Minimum requirement for admission to B.F.A. Part-I
Graphic Design/Painting/Textile Design is (F.A./F.Sc.).
2)The applicants will have to pass a test of drawing and a written Aptitude Test. Only those who pass the test of Drawing will be eligible for admission.<br>
3) For the purpose of determining the merit, 50% weightage will be given to the test and 50% to the total marks in intermediate. <br>
4) 20 marks will be given to those candidates who had fine arts in Intermediate.<br>
5) The candidates who are applicants for admission to B.F.A. painting and have also passed the professional diploma from Punjab University in Painting, Drawing or Sculpture, will be given 40 marks.<br>
6) The candidates who are applicants for admission to B.F.A. Graphic Design or Textile design and have also passed professional diploma from Punjab University in Graphic Design, Computer Graphics, Textile Design or Photography will be given 40 marks.
All candidates should have passed F.A./F.Sc. in the first Annual examination
2006 or 2nd Annual 2005 for the morning programme.

I) Children/ real brothers or sisters of Punjab University serving or
retired teachers with service of not less than five years. Preference
will be given to the children: 2% (with a minimum of one seat).
II) Children/ real brothers or sisters of Punjab University serving or
retired employees with service of not less than five years. Preference
will be given to the children: 2% (with a minimum of one seat).
III) Foreign students names as recommended by the Ministry of Education,
Government of Pakistan: 1% (with a minimum of one seat).
IV) Children of the personnel of the Defence Forces: one seat.
V) Disabled persons: 1% or one seat.
The Following Documents Should Accompany
the Admission Forms.
1) 4 passport size recent photographs.
2) F.A. detail marks certificate in case of admission for B.F.A. part-1.
3) B.A. detail marks certificate in case of admission for M.A. part-1.
4) An attested copy of the Matriculation Certificate (as proof of the
date of birth).
5) A certificate of good moral character.
6) Physical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner.
7) A migration certificate (in case an applicant has passed Intermediate
from a Board other than Punjab).
8) Photo copy of Identity Card / Domicile certificate.
9) An attested copy of N.C.C. certificate or Hafiz-e-Quran, where applicable.
10) An Equivalence Certificate in case of Candidates with A Levels etc.
