Instructions for Author |

| |
- Unpublished articles and book reviews on themes of historical interest, with particular reference to South Asia will be welcomed.
- The article should be an original contribution to knowledge and plagiarized work will never be accepted.
- The Contributor/s is/are responsible for the material, comments, and maps etc. stated with in the article, in both states, individually or collectively. The Editor of The Punjab University Historical Society is not responsible for the statements of facts or opinions made by the contributor/s.
- Turabian style should be followed for references, footnotes, bibliography, tables, maps and images etc.
- The softcopy of the article and the contents including tables, maps and diagrams etc. should be on paper size (width 6.38” x height 9.38”) single spaced with font size of 10 having margins of 0.63” at Top & Bottom and 0.88” at both Left & right.
- Softcopy of article should be sent through email to the Editor as attached file only as Microsoft Word document between 6000-9000 words.Â
- Utmost care should be taken to prepare statistical data for publication. All headings, columns, rows, symbols, units of measurement, periods, political and geographical areas, and sources should be clearly stated.
- Authors should submit abstract of their articles, not exceeding 150 words. The first page of the paper should include the title of the paper as the name and institutional afiliation of the author.
- The Editor reserves the right to select or reject any article for publication in the Journal without any reason.
- The Journal follows double blind peer review policy. No article/s will be published without being reviewed by two experts.
- Any article avoiding above guidelines will not be accepted for publication in the Journal of the Punjab University Historical Society.
