Taleemat is a peer-reviewed bilingual ( Urdu & English) research journal of Alumni Association of Institute of Education and Research University of the Punjab, Lahore-Pakistan. It aims to present the original manuscripts and contributions on issues, trends, policies and practices that shape the education and training of young minds from early childhood to higher education. Taleemat is operated by the Alumni Association of Institute of Education and Research (IER), one of the pioneer institutes of teacher education and research in Pakistan. Publications by Taleemat cover a range of topics in the domain of all levels of Education (Pre-school, Elementary, Secondary and Higher secondary) and all types of Education (Formal education, Non-formal Education, Distance Education, Online Education). Taleemat includes the researches based on empirical data. The authors bear the entire responsibility for the originality of their work to be published in the Taleemat.

The journal welcomes original work in the form of empirical research to improve the outcomes of learners, trainers and employers. The contributions submitted to Taleemat are published biannually. The journal aids to meet the needs of educational practitioners, service providers, classroom teachers, teacher educators, employers and policy makers, higher education institutes, research scholars and aspiring educators.
This journal will be got recognized by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan soon.
