Journal of Women, Peace & Security is an open access, peer-reviewed, and refereed journal published by the Department of Gender Studies, University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. The aim of the journal is to provide a relevant platform to readers and students of interdisciplinary fields i.e., Gender Studies, Peace and Security Studies, Development Studies, Political Science, International Relations, Sociology, Criminology, Media & Communication Studies, Psychology, History and Pakistan Studies. The journal has a broader interdisciplinary scope, and publishes research on contemporary and cross-disciplinary themes, related to women peace and security. JWPS focuses on national, regional and international issues with particular reference to patriarchal practices. e.g., workplace harassment against women, educational disparities, media disparities and health adversities, physical and mental vulnerabilities, and institutional and structural marginalization women.

This journal provides exciting opportunity for indigenous researchers, students and academicians to publish local discourse related to diverse topics; WPS and Gender based violence, WPS and Masculinities, WPS and Climate Change, WPS and Sustainable development goals.

We are accepting empirical articles, review articles, policy papers and relevant book reviews.
