Candidates without thesis in MS/MPhil/equivalent can be admitted but they have to complete deficiency of 06 credit hours research thesis. |

Subject eligibility criteria of individual disciplines will be provided by the relevant Board of studies/DDPC of Department / Institute / College / Centre / School (Link for departmental contacts is present at admission portal).

The candidates must have to qualify the written test with 70% marks for PhD and 50% for MS/M.Phil/Equivalent.

The candidates must have to qualify the interview with 50% marks

Marks 40 are reserved for academic qualification (merit formula table is available at www.pu.edu.pk/dpcc) to be added in the merit list. |

Processing and examination fee i.e. Rs.500/- must be deposited through online bank challan form generated during application submission (in Bank) |

Application received (online) after due date will not be entertained. |

Candidates waiting for the result of 8th Semester BS / 4th Semester M.A / M.Sc can apply and have to provide the result notified by the Controller of Examinations before test date. Otherwise, they will not be considered for written test and admission. |

Equivalence is required: From PU is required (Qualification from Institutions other than the University of the Punjab will be equalized by the Equivalence Committee of the University of the Punjab). Candidates have to apply well in time to equivalence cell PU and must provide the same before interview. |
• |
Equivalence of Degrees Awarded by chartered foreign universities will be also required from HEC Pakistan. PU equivalence is also required. |
• |
Candidate in job should provide NOC from his/her employer will date of interview, who fail to submit will not be included in the merit list. |
• |
A foreign candidate should apply through his/her Home Country’s Embassy or Consulate and Pakistan Mission/s Abroad office (in case of Overseas Pakistani). NOC and equivalence of degrees from HEC required. |
• |
Equivalence of Degrees Awarded by chartered foreign universities will be also required from HEC Pakistan. PU equivalence is also required. |
