CGPA on a scale other than 4:00 will be converted accordingly.

Candidates without thesis in MS/MPhil/equivalent can be admitted but they have to complete deficiency of 06 credit hours research thesis.

Subject eligibility criteria of individual disciplines will be provided by the relevant Board of studies/DDPC of Department / Institute / College / Centre / School before the admission.

The candidates must have to qualify the written test with 70% marks for PhD and 50% for MS / M.Phil / Equivalent.

The candidates must have to qualify the interview with 50% |

Marks 40 are reserved for academic qualification (merit formula table is available at www.pu.edu.pk/dpcc) to be added in the merit. |

The admission regulations of MS / M.Phil. / M.Sc. (Engg./Hons) /equivalent/ Ph.D. can also be obtained from the respective Department / Institute / Centre / College / School. For further information, please contact the respective Department / Institute / Centre / College / School. |

Processing and examination fee i.e. Rs.500/- must be deposited in the Bank through online Bank challan form generated during application submission. After uploading the details of submitted challan, application must be generated. |

Application received (online) after due date will not be entertained. |

Equivalence from PU is required. Qualification from Institutions other than the University of the Punjab will be equalized by the Equivalence Committee of the University of the Punjab. Candidates have to apply well in time to Equivalence Cell, PU and must provide the same before interview. However, Migration Certificate from previous institute must be submitted with two weeks after confirmation of admission. |

Equivalence of Degrees Awarded by the chartered foreign universities will be also required from HEC Pakistan. PU equivalence is also required. |

Candidate in job should provide NOC from his/her employer will date of interview, who fail to submit will not be included in the merit list. |
• |
A foreign candidate should apply through his / her Home Country’s Embassy or Consulate and Pakistan Mission/s Abroad office (in case of Overseas Pakistani). NOC and equivalence of degrees from HEC required. |
Note: Eligibility for PhD Sports Science & Physical Education is M.Phil degree or equivalent only. |
