Admission Notice

Applications are invited for Admission in the Following Program:

i)	Online Form is available at http://admissions.pu.edu.pk , http://111.68.103.22/admissions w.e.f. 17-01-2022. The candidate will submit his/her online form along with scanned copies of academic certificates upto 31-01-2022 (4:00 p.m.) and the Written Test/Interview will be held in the concerned department (by observing all Covid-19 SOP’s) at the time and date given above.
ii)	The incomplete applications in any respect will not be entertained.

Eligibility:
	I.	BS (Hons.) 4 years / M.A. / M.Sc. / B.Sc (Hons.) 4 years / B.Sc. (Engg) degree or equivalent in the relevant subject from a HEC recognized University (At least 16 years of education; 130 credit hours) as per HEC and PU rules.
	II.	No third division in the whole career
Terms & Conditions
•	CGPA on a scale other than 4:00 will be converted accordingly.
•	Subject eligibility criteria is available at admission portal.
•	The candidates must have to qualify the written test with 50%.
•	The candidates must have to qualify the interview with 50%
•	Marks 40 are reserved for academic qualification (merit formula table is available at www.pu.edu.pk/dpcc) to be added in the merit.
•	The admission regulations of MS / M.Phil. can also be obtained from the School of Physical Sciences.
•	Processing and examination fee i.e. Rs.500/- must be deposited in the Bank through online Bank challan form generated during application submission. After uploading the details of submitted challan, application must be generated.
•	Application received (online) after due date will not be entertained.
•	Equivalence from PU is required. Qualification from Institutions other than the University of the Punjab will be equalized by the Equivalence Committee of the University of the Punjab. Candidates have to apply well in time to Equivalence Cell, PU and must provide the same before interview. However, Migration Certificate from previous institute must be submitted with two weeks after confirmation of admission.
•	Equivalence of Degrees Awarded by the chartered foreign universities will be also required from HEC Pakistan. PU equivalence is also required.
•	Candidate in job should provide NOC from his/her employer will date of interview, who fail to submit will not be included in the merit list.
•	A foreign candidate should apply through his/her Home Country’s Embassy or Consulate and Pakistan Mission/s Abroad office (in case of Overseas Pakistani). NOC and equivalence of degrees from HEC required.
