Al-Hikmat is a research journal of the Department of Philosophy, University of the Punjab, Lahore (Pakistan), which comprises articles on philosophy and allied disciplines. Before publication all articles are anonymously refereed by experts in the respective fields of specialization. The Journal is published annually.

The first issue of the journal was published in 1967. The views expressed in the research articles are those of the authors. The editors do not assume any responsibility for the views expressed by the authors.
