Lahore, Tuesday, May 21, 2024 - The Punjab University Career Counseling & Placement Centre (CCPC) held a successful job fair at the Institute of Administrative Sciences (IAS), aimed at providing students with enhanced career opportunities. The event saw participation from a large number of students, faculty members, and notable figures from the university. Prominent attendees included PU Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Khalid Mahmood, CCPC Director, Prof. Dr. Naveed Ahmed, IAS Director, Prof. Dr. Kashif Rathore, and Treasurer, Tasneem Kamran. Addressing the attendees, PU VC Prof. Dr. Khalid Mahmood praised the participation of renowned companies at the job fair. He highlighted the importance of such events in guiding students toward their future careers and commended the efforts of Dr. Naveed Ahmed and his team for organizing the fair. The job fair featured 30 companies that set up their stalls, conducting interviews, recruitment tests, and collecting CVs from prospective candidates. The event concluded with the distribution of shields and certificates to the organizers, company representatives, and volunteers in recognition of their contributions.
