Message From the Chair

We are pleased to once again organize a 2nd International Conference this year. Information as a common global commodity is delivered and shared through compatible systems with robust networks. It is responsible for bringing about extensive and immense transformation in societies in both the developed and the developing countries. These developments have in fact brought about a paradigm shift in the discipline in the form of ‘iSchools’. The ever-emerging challenges at the national and global level compel academic programs to not only respond to those challenges but also to foresee and carve their future. It is imperative to prepare reflective information and library professionals who are capable of serving diverse communities in a variety of work settings.

In order to deliberate on these challenges, opportunities, developments and issues faced by educational programs and the job market, we have planned the ICIML 2018. We welcome eminent, senior as well as young academics and practitioners of national and international communities to join us at this grand scholarly event. Let us create our future together!
