Vice Chancellor's Message

It gives me immense pleasure to learn that the Department of Information Management is organizing 2 nd International Conference on Information Management and Libraries (ICIML2018). It is my belief that this conference will be as grand as the 1 st ICIML held in 2015.

I would like to applaud the Conference Chair, Prof. Kanwal Ameen, for her vision and leading this initiative with full zeal. The Chair, Dept. of Information Management, Prof. Khalid Mahmood and the organizing committee deserves deep appreciation for making every effort to make it an international conference of high quality. The dedication of the Dept of Information Management in preparing outstanding professionals is exemplary. The conference theme seems very appropriate under the evergrowing digital environment in Pakistani libraries.

My full support is with the organizers in making it a conference to be cherished.
